The Development of Art Composition Skills for Vocational Students Using a Chatbot

Abstract

This research aimed to 1) to develop an art composition chatbot for vocational students, 2) to investigate the learning outcomes of art composition skills using the chatbot, and 3) to examine students’ satisfaction with chatbot-based learning. The research employed an experimental design using a One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The sample consisted of 65 first-year vocational certificate students in the Digital Business Technology Department at Prachuap Khiri Khan Technical College, selected through purposive sampling. Research instruments included the ARTBOT PKTC chatbot, pretest and posttest assessments, an art composition skill evaluation form, an expert evaluation form for chatbot quality, and a student satisfaction questionnaire. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and a t-test. The results indicated that the developed ARTBOT PKTC achieved a “very good” level of quality, both in terms of content (Mean = 4.40, SD = 0.55) and technical/media production (Mean = 4.60, SD = 0.44), as evaluated by experts. Students’ posttest scores on art composition skills were significantly higher than their pretest scores at the .05 level (Pretest Mean = 14.48, Posttest Mean = 23.05). A total of 87.69% of students achieved scores above the 50% threshold, exceeding the 70% criterion. Moreover, students expressed an overall “very good” level of satisfaction (Mean = 4.64, SD = 0.56). The findings suggest that ARTBOT PKTC is effective in promoting Adaptive Learning and Creative Learning, and it is suitable for enhancing art composition skills among vocational students.

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ 1) เพื่อพัฒนาแชทบอทองค์ประกอบศิลป์สำหรับนักศึกษาอาชีวศึกษา 2) เพื่อศึกษาผลการพัฒนาทักษะองค์ประกอบศิลป์สำหรับนักศึกษาอาชีวศึกษาด้วยแชทบอท 3) เพื่อศึกษาความพึงพอใจของนักศึกษาที่มีต่อการเรียนด้วยแชทบอท การวิจัยเป็นรูปแบบเชิงทดลอง (Experimental Research) โดยใช้แผนการทดลองแบบ One Group Pretest-Posttest Design กลุ่มตัวอย่าง คือ นักศึกษาระดับประกาศนียบัตรวิชาชีพ ชั้นปีที่ 1 แผนกวิชาเทคโนโลยีธุรกิจดิจิทัล วิทยาลัยเทคนิคประจวบคีรีขันธ์ จำนวน 65 คน ที่ได้จากการสุ่มแบบเจาะจง (Purposive Sampling) เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย ได้แก่ แชทบอท ARTBOT PKTC แบบทดสอบก่อนและหลังเรียน แบบประเมินทักษะองค์ประกอบศิลป์ แบบประเมินคุณภาพแชทบอทโดยผู้เชี่ยวชาญ และแบบสอบถามความพึงพอใจของผู้เรียน วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลด้วยสถิติเชิงพรรณนาและการทดสอบค่า t-test ผลการวิจัยพบว่า แชทบอท ARTBOT PKTC ที่พัฒนาขึ้นมีคุณภาพในระดับ "ดีมาก" ทั้งด้านเนื้อหา (ค่าเฉลี่ย = 4.40, SD = 0.55) และด้านเทคนิคและการผลิตสื่อ (ค่าเฉลี่ย = 4.60, SD = 0.44) ตามการประเมินของผู้เชี่ยวชาญ ทักษะองค์ประกอบศิลป์ของนักศึกษาหลังเรียนด้วยแชทบอทสูงกว่าก่อนเรียนอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05 (คะแนนเฉลี่ยก่อนเรียน = 14.48, หลังเรียน = 23.05) นักศึกษาร้อยละ 87.69 มีคะแนนทักษะผ่านเกณฑ์ 50% ซึ่งเกินเกณฑ์ร้อยละ 70 ที่กำหนดไว้ และมีความพึงพอใจโดยรวมอยู่ในระดับ “ดีมาก” (ค่าเฉลี่ย = 4.64, SD = 0.56) มีประสิทธิภาพในการส่งเสริมการเรียนรู้แบบ Adaptive Learning และ Creative Learning และเหมาะสมสำหรับการพัฒนาทักษะด้านองค์ประกอบศิลป์ของผู้เรียนสายอาชีพต่อไป
